Some practical information
Arrival
You should have the money for your visa ready in US$ (€).
When you leave the airport, on your right side, there is an office
for taxis. If you are not picked up, you can order a taxi here.
A little farther (also on the right) you will see an automated
teller machine (ATM).
Here you can draw IDR's with an EC-card
(max. 1.000.000 per business transaction) .
Basically, you can get money at cash dispensers in the cities,
using an EC-card. In almost all banks you will find
ATM's. In Lovina, there is one on the main street.

If you are doing your vacation in the north, you will have to take
into account the following costs.
For lunch / dinner at a restaurant you will reckon with prices
from 1,70 to 6,00 € and more
small beer starting at 0,70 €, large beer at 1,50 €
Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite, from 0,80 €
fresh fruit juices from 0,70 - 1,50 €
Motorcycle rentals starting at approx. 3,50 € / per day (international
driving licence is required)
Car rentals starting at approx.12 € / per day (international driving
licence is required)
Tours with a driver, depending on vehicle and the number of days
starting at 20 € / vehicle (4 persons at the most) /trip.

Here you can get local meals starting at 0,80€
sometimes they are even cheaper.
The quality and taste may even be better than
what you get at a restaurant.
Usually, there is Nasi Campur.
A portion of rice with different kinds of small pieces of
meat and fish,tofu or tempe, some vegetables,
a small soup.
You should simply point to what you would like,
the price depends on the size of the portion.
After 1:00 PM it is often sold out here, in the evening
they may even cook a second time.
There is Babi Guling (grilled pork), here it is more or less
clear what you will be getting and it will cost a little
more (starting at 1 €).
Laundry services incl. ironing are provided in every hotel.
The prices start at approx. 0,20 € for half-sleeve T-shirts,
trousers at about 0,30€.
Prices for fruit depend on the situation at the market / for that partucular
season.
Here the price is determined by supply and demand.
This means that shortly before large festivals the fruit prices could
rise by 300% or more.
Bananas (different varieties) per piece, starting at about 0,1߀
Mango 1 kg from 0,80€ (season starting at Oct.)
Papaya depending on the size starting at 0,60 € / per piece
Watermelons per kg about 1,10 €
Strawberries(June/July) in Bedugul and the surrounding areas about 2,30 €
/ a kg
Pineapple / per piece, starting at 0,50€
Apples and pears are imported goods and comparably expensive.
Using the internet costs from 0,25€ on up per minute. Here there are
some big differences with regard to speed and price.
Milk products are imported goods (New Zealand / Australia) and
the prices can be as expected.
Upon departure you will have to pay an airport tax of 150.000 IDR.
